Yahoo! and Microsoft to Implement Search Alliance

Microsoft and Yahoo have just received the go-ahead from regulators in the U.S. and EU to proceed with their search agreement; Microsoft Corp. continues its assault on Google Inc. by partnering with Yahoo! to create a new search alliance, which some are calling powerful, others 'the next Alta Vista'.
