Free USB drive and food for helping the library

The library needs your help in improving its website. We are looking for
undergraduate students, graduate students and faculty to participate in a
1-hour focus group to give us input on how to make the library website
better for you. The times for the focus groups are:

* 1st year/Freshmen: Wednesday, Nov. 18th at 2:00 p.m.
* 2nd year/Sophomores: Wednesday, Nov. 18th at 3:30 p.m.
* Juniors/Seniors: Wednesday, Nov. 18th at 5:00 p.m.
* Graduate Students: Thursday, Nov. 19th at 4 p.m.
* Faculty: Thursday, Nov. 19th at 5:30 p.m.

All focus groups will take place in the Isenberg School of Management in
room 236. All participants receive a 1GB flash drive, along with food and
beverages.

Soft Launch of Camcorders to students

The Reserves, Media and Microforms Department has begun checking out camcorders to students. If someone asks for help with using these cameras in the LC, there are computers in the South end of the LC that have special gray firewires that they can download their video with.

Wednesday, November 11 is Veteran's Day. However, the Library will be open 24 hours and the regular work schedule at the LC Desk will be in effect.
