Barcode problems with new Aleph system being slowly implemented...

If anyone reports any problems with accessing their circulation record, online renewing, or the "request item" feature from the catalog, please send them to Circulation...there has been a report of some barcode issues...

Please be aware of our feathered friends in the courtyard. Our cute (but simple) ducks sometimes fly into the courtyard windows when they have been freshly cleaned.

...basically that means it is only a danger once or twice a year. :)

This is now required reading for the LC staff. Always be prepared!

UCARD poblems??

If the ucard machine malfunctions, there is a specific plan to follow. First make sure that the patron has followed the instructions and be sure that the machine is really truly not functioning.

Next, go to the section in the white notebook manual that is labelled UCard...there you will find instructions to call Crystal at the UCard office.

Don't call circulation or the building monitors as they have nothing to do with the UCard machine and therefore, won't be able to help.
